This is the basic way. Tasks are shown in a list where you can decide what info and task values are displayed.
To change what info is shown, just click the gear icon on the right. You'll see view options.
On the far right of the list, you'll also see your custom fields you made and set up, unless you set them to be hidden when creating them (which you do by checking 'don't show in table').
You can also view your tasks in a kanban board. Just click the blue button in the top right corner. You'll see kanban view options, basically how you want your kanban to be split. So you can split kanbans by assignees, priorities, or even by projects.
Kanban has columns called ToDo, In Progress, Done, Cancelled, Postponed.
